First-ever House Music Festival highlights breadth of talent at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥

Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ students are out in force ready to make positive contributions through fundraising efforts, citizen science or speaking out to raise awareness on global issues.

After 27 years at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥, Mr Phil Knox, Science teacher and House Coordinator of Nicholii is retiring from full time teaching. Phil shares his thoughts on the important skills today's students require and the changes he has seen in the teaching profession.

Upon finishing Year 12, Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ alumni Cameron Barnett (2019) headed to Japan for a once in a life time opportunity to teach English at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Exchange Partner School, Ueda Nishi. In the face of a global pandemic Cameron found unique teaching opportunities and the chance to develop deeper friendships.

As she prepares to walk through doors of the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Library one last time, Mrs Gill Martin shares the highlights of her time at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥, the lessons she has learned from students and her advice for new Teacher Librarians.

Emma Parmeter and Loïc Mallet hope to bring positivity and cohesion to the school as role models, helping hands and a friend to everyone. 

Teaching at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ since 1994, Mr John Worthing has guided many students through the department that he says is all about building life skills. Ahead of his retirement John shares his highlights and what he will miss most about Ñý¼§Ö±²¥.

Peta Skilbeck (1996) wanted to be a doctor from a very young age. A love of the idea of pregnancy and birth, coupled with her own experience with infertility, encouraged her passion in the area of obstetrics and gynaecology. Peta now has her own private practice in obstetrics and gynaecology and helps many Central Coast families bring new life into the world.
